Mapping Feature: To access the mapping feature simply select the graphic of the province as seen here...................

Browser Note: You will require Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher to properly view the reports. Recent versions of Netscape may cause your computer to lock up.

If you have tried to download information from the internet that requires a specific program to view it, such as, Adobe Acrobat, then you know that you have to either have a copy of Adobe on your computer or you can download it from the internet.  Similarly, the first time you select a report to view, the system will detect whether you have the Crystal Viewer installed  If the viewer is found then the report will be displayed.  If the viewer is not found, you will be asked to install it.  Depending on the browser you have you will receive one of the following messages.

Internet Explorer Users: will be prompted to install and run the "Crystal Smart Viewer for ActiveX". Simply select "Yes" at the bottom of the screen and the viewer will be installed and the report will be displayed.

Netscape Users: will see a message "JavaScript or a Java applet from Seagate Software is requesting additional privileges". Simply check the box labeled "Remember this decision" and select the Grant button at the bottom of the screen. You may have to do this selection up to three times for Netscape. Once completed, the report will be displayed.

In either case, you will not receive these messages the next time you select a report.

Most of the reports are displayed in a similar format such that the school districts appear in the left frame and the school results appear in the right frame. To display a list of schools within a school district click the plus sign symbol (+) next to the school district name. This will expand out a list of schools under the district name. Selecting a school will cause the right frame to refresh showing the information for the selected school.  Sample screen shot of a report for more detailed features.
