Exporting Reports to Other Software

All reports can be exported to an external file and viewed in another software program.  Keep in mind if you are viewing all schools at the time of export, then the exported file could contain several hundred pages depending on the report you are exporting.  To export only information pertaining to a particular school, simply enter the school number when prompted or select just that school from the mapping feature.

Reports can be exported to MS Word or Excel or RTF formats.  If you want to view a report in MS Word,  export the output to MS Word.  In certain cases you may have better success exporting the report to an RTF file first (the file will have an "rtf" extension) and then open this rtf file directly into MS Word.  To export to WordPerfect, export the output to a MS Word document and then import this document into WordPerfect.  There is no direct export to Word Perfect.  Similarly you can export the report to MS Excel first and highlight and copy the information you want and paste it into MS Word.  Some reports when exported directly to a MS Word document require formatting.
