Glossary: Local Course

A senior high course, developed at the school or district level, whose content focuses on a particular region of the province and/or which has some unique orientation deemed important as a focus of study by its students (e.g., Aquaculture 3226, Hospitality/Tourism 3120, Physics 4224). Local courses are intended to enhance the course options for students without negatively affecting student access to the provincial curriculum.
